וַתֵּרֶא רָחֵל כִּי לֹא יָֽלְדָה לְיַעֲקֹב וַתְּקַנֵּא רָחֵל בַּאֲחֹתָהּ וַתֹּאמֶר אֶֽל־יַעֲקֹב הָֽבָה־לִּי בָנִים וְאִם־אַיִן מֵתָה אָנֹֽכִי׃

וַתִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמוֹ יוֹסֵף לֵאמֹר יֹסֵף יְהֹוָה לִי בֵּן אַחֵֽר׃
