וַעֲבַדוּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּהֲנַיָּא וְלֵוָיֵא וּשְׁאָר בְּנֵי־גָלוּתָא חֲנֻכַּת בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דְנָה בְּחֶדְוָֽה׃
And the children of Israel — the priests and the Levites and the rest of the sons of the exile — observed the inauguration of this house of G-d with joy.

וְהַקְרִבוּ לַחֲנֻכַּת בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דְנָה תּוֹרִין מְאָה דִּכְרִין מָאתַיִן אִמְּרִין אַרְבַּע מְאָה וּצְפִירֵי עִזִּין (לחטיא) [לְחַטָּאָה] עַל־כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל תְּרֵֽי־עֲשַׂר לְמִנְיָן שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
And they sacrificed for the inauguration of this house of G-d: one hundred bulls, two hundred rams, and four hundred sheep, and young goats as sin-offerings for all of Israel, twelve, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

וַהֲקִימוּ כָהֲנַיָּא בִּפְלֻגָּתְהוֹן וְלֵוָיֵא בְּמַחְלְקָתְהוֹן עַל־עֲבִידַת אֱלָהָא דִּי בִירוּשְׁלֶם כִּכְתָב סְפַר מֹשֶֽׁה׃ {פ}
And they set up the priests in their groups [(for the sacrificial service)] and the Levites in their divisions [(of their watches)] for the service of G-d in Jerusalem, as prescribed in the book of Moses.

והקימו כהניא בפלוגתהון. שהיו הכהנים חלוקים בעבודתם ולוי' במשמרות':
Now they set up the priests in their divisions for the priests were divided in their service and the Levites in their watches.
והקריבו לחנוכת. הקריבו לחנוכת בית זה קרבנות הללו והוראת שעה היתה:
