כופין אותו למאן כו', אדרבה איפכא כו'. כלומר, יותר היה לנו לכופו בבתו גדולה שפסקה לפניו ותנאה תנאי ושתק מקטנה שאין בדבריה כלום (רשב"א בשטמ"ק).
