היא שצונו להניח מה שיש בכרם כשיבצור אותו לעניים הנקרא עוללות, ובא הכתוב גם כן תעזוב אותם אחר זכרו העוללות. וכבר התבארו משפטי מצוה זו במסכת פאה. ואינה נוהגת אלא בארץ. (קדושים תהיו, מתנות עניים פ"א):
