הזהירנו משחוט בהמה ובנה ביום אחד בין בקדשים בין בחולין. והוא אמרו אותו ואת בנו לא תשחטו ביום אחד. ומי שעבר ושחט לוקה. וכבר התבארו משפטי מצוה זו בחמישי מחולין. (אמור, קדושה הלכות שחיטה פי"ב):
