הזהירנו מפדות בכור בהמה טהורה. והוא אמרו יתעלה אך בכור שור וגו' לא תפדה, אבל מותר למכרו כמו שהתבאר בבכורות (דף ל"ז:). ולשון ספרי בבכור נאמר לא תפדה אבל הוא נמכר. (ויקח קרח, הלכות בכורות פרק א'):
