15:29

But, the Eternal One of Yisroel neither lies nor relents, for He is not a human that He should relent."

But, the Eternal One of Yisroel neither lies nor relents, for He is not a human that He should relent."

Rashi

But, the Eternal One of Yisroel neither lies. And if you will say, 'I will repent of my sin before Him,' it will no longer avail to take the kingship from the one to whom it was given, for the Holy One, Blessed is He, Who is the Eternal One of Yisroel, will not lie by not giving the good to whom He said to give it.

15:30

He said, "I have sinned. Please honor me now before the elders of my people and Yisroel; return with me, and I will prostrate myself to Adonoy, your God."

He said, "I have sinned. Please honor me now before the elders of my people and Yisroel; return with me, and I will prostrate myself to Adonoy, your God."

15:31

וַיָּשׇׁב שְׁמוּאֵל אַחֲרֵי שָׁאוּל וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ שָׁאוּל לַיהֹוָֽה׃ {ס}

Shmuel returned after Shaul, and Shaul prostrated himself before Adonoy.
