וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד אֶל־יוֹאָב וְאֶל־כׇּל־הָעָם אֲשֶׁר־אִתּוֹ קִרְעוּ בִגְדֵיכֶם וְחִגְרוּ שַׂקִּים וְסִפְדוּ לִפְנֵי אַבְנֵר וְהַמֶּלֶךְ דָּוִד הֹלֵךְ אַחֲרֵי הַמִּטָּֽה׃
Dovid said to Yoav and to all the people that were with him, "Rent your clothes, tie on sackcloth and eulogize before Avner," and King Dovid himself followed the coffin.
