יְהֹוָה מָלָךְ יִרְגְּזוּ עַמִּים יֹשֵׁב כְּרוּבִים תָּנוּט הָאָֽרֶץ׃

יְהֹוָה בְּצִיּוֹן גָּדוֹל וְרָם הוּא עַל־כׇּל־הָעַמִּֽים׃

יודו שמך. יודו את עז מלך האוהב משפט:
וְעֹז מֶלֶךְ מִשְׁפָּט אָהֵב אַתָּה כּוֹנַנְתָּ מֵישָׁרִים מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה בְּיַעֲקֹב ׀ אַתָּה עָשִֽׂיתָ׃

ועז מלך. מוסב על מקרא העליון:
אתה כוננת מישרים. פשרה ושימת שלום בין אנשים כוננת באמרך (שמות כ״ג:ד׳) כי תראה חמור שונאך רובץ וגו', כי תפגע שור אויבך ומי הוא שיראה את שונאו גומל לו חסד שלא ידבנו לבו לחבקו ולנשקו, תנחומא:
רוֹמְמוּ יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְֽהִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַהֲדֹם רַגְלָיו קָדוֹשׁ הֽוּא׃

בעמוד ענן ידבר אליהם. אף עם שמואל וזה הוא שנאמר (שמואל א ט׳:י״א-י״ב) היש בזה הרואה ותעננה אותם ותאמרנה יש, ראו הענן קשור על פתחו, כד"א ויש אשר יהיה הענן (במדבר י׳:י״א):
שמרו עדתיו וחק נתן למו. וחוק אשר נתן למו:

ונוקם. היית על עלילותם, משה ואהרן (שמות כ י) שמעו נא המורים, שמואל על שלא הדריך בניו בדרך טובה מת בחור:

כי קדוש ה' אלהינו. על אשר הוא מדקדק עם הצדיקים הוא מקודש בעולם, וכן הוא אומר (שמות כ״ט:מ״ג) ונקדש בכבודי, במכובדי:
ירגזו עמים. מדבר במלחמת גוג ומגוג, ואז ירגזו עמים כענין שנאמר (זכריה י״ד:י״ב) וזאת תהיה המגפה וגו':
