כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יֱהֹוִה כׇּל־בֶּן־נֵכָר עֶרֶל לֵב וְעֶרֶל בָּשָׂר לֹא יָבוֹא אֶל־מִקְדָּשִׁי לְכׇל־בֶּן־נֵכָר אֲשֶׁר בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Thus says the Lord God; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Yisra᾽el.

ונשאו עונם. מגשת עוד אל מזבחי אל פקודות של שערי הבית, פקודות קומנדישא"ש בלע"ז שומרים ושוטרים יהיו:
וְהָיוּ בְמִקְדָּשִׁי מְשָׁרְתִים פְּקֻדּוֹת אֶל־שַׁעֲרֵי הַבַּיִת וּֽמְשָׁרְתִים אֶת־הַבָּיִת הֵמָּה יִשְׁחֲטוּ אֶת־הָעוֹלָה וְאֶת־הַזֶּבַח לָעָם וְהֵמָּה יַעַמְדוּ לִפְנֵיהֶם לְשָׁרְתָֽם׃
and they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having charge at the gates of the house, and ministering in the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them.

המה ישחטו את העולה. עבודה הכשרה בזרים ובעבדים ובנשים:
יַעַן אֲשֶׁר יְשָׁרְתוּ אוֹתָם לִפְנֵי גִלּוּלֵיהֶם וְהָיוּ לְבֵֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמִכְשׁוֹל עָוֺן עַל־כֵּן נָשָׂאתִי יָדִי עֲלֵיהֶם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יֱהֹוִה וְנָשְׂאוּ עֲוֺנָֽם׃

למכשול עון. כומרים לעכו"ם להמשיכם לכך:
וְלֹֽא־יִגְּשׁוּ אֵלַי לְכַהֵן לִי וְלָגֶשֶׁת עַל־כׇּל־קׇדָשַׁי אֶל־קׇדְשֵׁי הַקֳּדָשִׁים וְנָֽשְׂאוּ כְּלִמָּתָם וְתוֹעֲבוֹתָם אֲשֶׁר עָשֽׂוּ׃
And they shall not come near to me, to do the office of a priest to me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, to the most holy things: but they shall bear their shame, and their disgusting deeds which they have committed.

וְנָתַתִּי אוֹתָם שֹׁמְרֵי מִשְׁמֶרֶת הַבָּיִת לְכֹל עֲבֹדָתוֹ וּלְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה בּֽוֹ׃ {פ}
