וַֽיִּתְּנוּ מִמַּטֵּה בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה וּמִמַּטֵּה בְּנֵי שִׁמְעוֹן אֵת הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָא אֶתְהֶן בְּשֵֽׁם׃

וַֽיְהִי לִבְנֵי אַהֲרֹן מִמִּשְׁפְּחוֹת הַקְּהָתִי מִבְּנֵי לֵוִי כִּי לָהֶם הָיָה הַגּוֹרָל רִאישֹׁנָֽה׃

אשר יקרא אתהן בשם. לפי שלא הזכיר למעלה את שמות הערים שנתנו להם, ולמטה הוא מפרש את שמותם, לכך אמר: אשר יקרא אתהן בשם:
That will be mentioned by name. Since he had not mentioned earlier the names of the cities that were given to them, and he enumerates their names later, he therefore states [now], “these cities that will be mentioned by name.”
