3:6:1

MISHNAH: If a Sage comes from the East my eruv shall be to the East, if he comes from the West my eruv shall be to the West, on both sides I shall be able to go where I want20He has no preacher at his place; he intends to go to any place where there is instruction. If two preachers come he may choose which lecture to attend., if they come from neither side I shall be like the people of my village.
Rebbi Jehudah says, if one of them was his teacher he has to go to his teacher21Since we presume that his intention is to hear his teacher, the second eruv becomes void automatically., if both were his teachers he may go to where he wants.

Paragraph. “Rebbi Jehudah says, if one of them was,” etc. Rebbi Jehudah says 151Added from G; missing in L and the printed editions. It probably was omitted since it flatly contradicts the preceding statement from the discussion of Mishnah 6. But that describes what people do while in Mishnah 7 R. Jehudah prescribes what people should do.[if one of them was a fundraiser, he should go to the fundraiser; if both of them were fundraisers he may go to the place of his choosing.]
