הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר הָיָה אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָהוּ אֶל כׇּל־הַיְּהוּדִים הַיֹּשְׁבִים בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם הַיֹּשְׁבִים בְּמִגְדֹּל וּבְתַחְפַּנְחֵס וּבְנֹף וּבְאֶרֶץ פַּתְרוֹס לֵאמֹֽר׃
The word that came to Yirmeyahu concerning all the men of Yehuda who dwelt in the land of Miżrayim, who dwelt at Migdol, and at Taĥpanĥes, and at Nof, and in the country of Patros, saying,

כֹּה־אָמַר יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אַתֶּם רְאִיתֶם אֵת כׇּל־הָֽרָעָה אֲשֶׁר הֵבֵאתִי עַל־יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם וְעַל כׇּל־עָרֵי יְהוּדָה וְהִנָּם חׇרְבָּה הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וְאֵין בָּהֶם יוֹשֵֽׁב׃
Thus says the Lord of hosts the God of Yisra᾽el; You have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Yerushalayim, and upon all the cities of Yehuda; and, behold, this day they are a ruin, and no one dwells in them,

מִפְּנֵי רָעָתָם אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ לְהַכְעִסֵנִי לָלֶכֶת לְקַטֵּר לַעֲבֹד לֵאלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים אֲשֶׁר לֹא יְדָעוּם הֵמָּה אַתֶּם וַאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, you, nor your fathers.

וָאֶשְׁלַח אֲלֵיכֶם אֶת־כׇּל־עֲבָדַי הַנְּבִיאִים הַשְׁכֵּים וְשָׁלֹחַ לֵאמֹר אַל־נָא תַעֲשׂוּ אֵת דְּבַֽר־הַתֹּעֵבָה הַזֹּאת אֲשֶׁר שָׂנֵֽאתִי׃

וְלֹא שָֽׁמְעוּ וְלֹא־הִטּוּ אֶת־אׇזְנָם לָשׁוּב מֵרָעָתָם לְבִלְתִּי קַטֵּר לֵאלֹהִים אֲחֵרִֽים׃
