לַיִּצְהָרִי כְּנַנְיָהוּ וּבָנָיו לַמְּלָאכָה הַחִֽיצוֹנָה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל לְשֹׁטְרִים וּלְשֹׁפְטִֽים׃

לחברוני חשביהו. עד לכל מלאכת ה' הם שוטרים על אותם שהיו עושים מלאכת ה' בעבר הירדן:
ולעבודת המלך. אף הם ממונים על יושבי נחלת המלך אוצרות המלך וכן לפנינו לכל דבר האלהים ודבר המלך:

בשנת הארבעים וגו'. וגם כל חשבונות הללו בשנת הארבעים היו:
