לַעֲלוּקָה ׀ שְׁתֵּי בָנוֹת הַב ׀ הַב שָׁלוֹשׁ הֵנָּה לֹא תִשְׂבַּעְנָה אַרְבַּע לֹא־אָמְרוּ הֽוֹן׃
The leech has two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied; four that never say, It is enough.

ארבע לא אמרו הון. הרבה יש לנו:
שְׁאוֹל וְעֹצֶר רָחַם אֶרֶץ לֹא־שָׂבְעָה מַּיִם וְאֵשׁ לֹא־אָמְרָה הֽוֹן׃
She᾽ol; and the barren womb; the earth that is never sated with water; and the fire that never says, It is enough.

ועוצר רחם. תשמיש:
עַיִן ׀ תִּלְעַג לְאָב וְתָבֻז לִֽיקְּהַת־אֵם יִקְּרוּהָ עֹֽרְבֵי־נַחַל וְֽיֹאכְלוּהָ בְנֵי־נָֽשֶׁר׃ {פ}
The eye that mocks at his father, and scorns to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young vultures shall eat it.

ליקהת אם. לקמטי' הנקבצי' ונקהין בפני אמו לשון יקהת עמים (ראשית מט) קבוצת עמים והיו"ד יסוד כמו יפעת ויעלת חן:
יקרוה. לשון תנקר נקרת הצור (שמות ל״ג:כ״ב) פוריי"ר בלעז יבא העורב שהוא אכזרי על בניו ויקרוה ולא יאכלנה ולא יהנה בה ויבא נשר שהוא רחמני על בניו ויאכלנה ויהנה בה, העורב אכזרי הוא כמו שנאמ' (תהילים קמ״ז:ט׳) לבני עורב אשר יקראו, והנשר רחמני שנאמר ישאהו על אברתו (דברים ל״ב:י״א):
לעלוקה. מנחם פתר לעלוקה כמשמעו למדנו שהוא ערבי והפותרים אומרים שהוא לשון שאול ומורד וכן במדרש תהלים למדנו כן שפותר שתי בנות גן עדן וגיהנם זו אומרת תנו לי צדיקי' וזו אומרת תנו לי רשעי':
