הַלְלוּ־יָהּ ׀ אַשְׁרֵי־אִישׁ יָרֵא אֶת־יְהֹוָה בְּמִצְוֺתָיו חָפֵץ מְאֹֽד׃
Haleluya! Happy is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in his commandments.

הוֹן־וָעֹשֶׁר בְּבֵיתוֹ וְצִדְקָתוֹ עֹמֶדֶת לָעַֽד׃

זרח בחשך אור. כמו הזריח, ומדרשו הוא עצמו כביכול נעשה להם אור כמו ה' אורי וישעי (לעיל כ"ז):
טֽוֹב־אִישׁ חוֹנֵן וּמַלְוֶה יְכַלְכֵּל דְּבָרָיו בְּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃

טוב איש חונן ומלוה וגו'. שחונן דלים ומלוה להם ואינו מדקדק לומר אין יכולת בידי, ואת דבריו הצריכין לו במאכל ובמשתה ובכסות מכלכל במשפט ובמדה וחס על נכסיו:
יכלכל דבריו במשפט. מנהיג חפציו:
כִּֽי־לְעוֹלָם לֹֽא־יִמּוֹט לְזֵכֶר עוֹלָם יִהְיֶה צַדִּֽיק׃
