לַמְנַצֵּחַ ׀ לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח מִזְמֽוֹר׃

כִּֽי־יְהֹוָה עֶלְיוֹן נוֹרָא מֶלֶךְ גָּדוֹל עַל־כׇּל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

ידבר עמים תחתינו. יתן דבר בעובדי כוכבים תחת נפשנו להיו' חמתו מתקררת בהם ואלו נצולים כענין שנאמ' ונתתי כפרך מצרים וגו' (ישעיהו מ״ג:ג׳), ומנחם חבר ידבר ל' הנהגה:
יִבְחַר־לָנוּ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֵנוּ אֶת־גְּאוֹן יַעֲקֹב אֲשֶׁר־אָהֵב סֶֽלָה׃

יבחר לנו וגו'. ויחזירנו לתוכה ואז יתעלה בתרועה וקול שופ' שנתקע לפניו בשיר על עולות וזבחים שלמים ונאמר זמרו אלהים וגו':
עָלָה אֱלֹהִים בִּתְרוּעָה יְהֹוָה בְּקוֹל שׁוֹפָֽר׃

נדיבי עמים. שהתנדבו עצמם לטבח ולהרוג על קדושת שמו:
עם אלהי אברהם. שהיה נדיב לב הראשון תחלה לגרים עתה נודע כי לאלהים מגיני ארץ היכולת בידו להיות למגן על כל הבוטחים בו:
תקעו כף. התערבו יחד זה עם זה להריע לאלהים בקול רנה:
