לָכֵן הִנָּבֵא עֲלֵיהֶם הִנָּבֵא בֶּן־אָדָֽם׃
Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

וַתִּפֹּל עָלַי רוּחַ יְהֹוָה וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי אֱמֹר כֹּֽה־אָמַר יְהֹוָה כֵּן אֲמַרְתֶּם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמַעֲלוֹת רוּחֲכֶם אֲנִי יְדַעְתִּֽיהָ׃

ומעלות רוחכם. העולה על דעתכם בוטר"א טלנ"ט בלע"ז:
הִרְבֵּיתֶם חַלְלֵיכֶם בָּעִיר הַזֹּאת וּמִלֵּאתֶם חוּצֹתֶיהָ חָלָֽל׃ {פ}

כן אמרתם. ידעתי כי זאת אמרתם שירושלים הסיר ואתם הבשר ואני אומר לכם כי לחללים שנתתם בה היא לסיר שהם נגמרו בה אבל לכם לא תהיה לסיר לקלוט אתכם עד יום מיתה כי אתכם אוציא מתוכה:
