וַיְהִי יְהֹוָה אֶת־יְהוֹשֻׁעַ וַיְהִי שׇׁמְעוֹ בְּכׇל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

וַיִּמְעֲלוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מַעַל בַּחֵרֶם וַיִּקַּח עָכָן בֶּן־כַּרְמִי בֶן־זַבְדִּי בֶן־זֶרַח לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה מִן־הַחֵרֶם וַיִּֽחַר־אַף יְהֹוָה בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {ס}
But the children of Yisra᾽el committed a trespass in regard to the devoted property: for ῾Akhan, the son of Karmi the son of Zavdi, the son of Zeraĥ, of the tribe of Yehuda, took of the devoted things: and the anger of the Lord burned against the children of Yisra᾽el.
