לְכוּ־נָא וְנִוָּכְחָה יֹאמַר יְהֹוָה אִם־יִהְיוּ חֲטָאֵיכֶם כַּשָּׁנִים כַּשֶּׁלֶג יַלְבִּינוּ אִם־יַאְדִּימוּ כַתּוֹלָע כַּצֶּמֶר יִֽהְיֽוּ׃
Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be white as wool.

אם יהיו חטאיכם כשנים. כתומים לפני כאודם שנים אלבינם כשלג:
יאמר ה'. תמיד הוא אומר לכם כן כמו על פי ה' יחנו (במדבר ט כ), ד"א לכו נא ונוכחה מה כתוב למעלה ממנו חדלו הרע למדו היטב ואחר שתשובו אלי לכו ונוכחה יחד להודיעני עשינו מה שעלינו עשה מה שעליך ואני אומר אם יהיו חטאיכם כשנים כשלג וגו':
כתולע. צבע שצובעים בו אדום גרעינים הם ויש תולעים בכל אחד ואחד:
אִם־תֹּאבוּ וּשְׁמַעְתֶּם טוּב הָאָרֶץ תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃
