רְפָאֵנִי יְהֹוָה וְאֵרָפֵא הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי וְאִוָּשֵׁעָה כִּי תְהִלָּתִי אָֽתָּה׃
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for Thou art my praise.

תהלתי. וונטנצ"א בלעז:
הִנֵּה־הֵמָּה אֹמְרִים אֵלָי אַיֵּה דְבַר־יְהֹוָה יָבוֹא נָֽא׃
Behold, they say to me, Where is the word of the Lord? let it come now.

איה דבר ה'. הפורעניות שאתה מתנבא:
וַאֲנִי לֹא־אַצְתִּי ׀ מֵרֹעֶה אַחֲרֶיךָ וְיוֹם אָנוּשׁ לֹא הִתְאַוֵּיתִי אַתָּה יָדָעְתָּ מוֹצָא שְׂפָתַי נֹכַח פָּנֶיךָ הָיָֽה׃
As for me, I did not hasten to be a shepherd to follow Thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; Thou knowst: that which came out of my lips was before Thee.

ואני לא אצתי. לא מהרתי לזרזך להביאם מהיות רועה טוב מחזר אחריך לבקש עליהם רחמים:
ויום אנוש. חולי של פורענות לא התאויתי וי"ת ואנא לא ענבית על מימרך מלהתנבאה עליהון לאתבותהון לדחלתך ולפי התרגום יהיה אצתי ל' עכוב כלומר לא עכבתי מלומר להם שליחותיך ולהשיבם אליך אם היו שומעים אלי:
מוצא שפתי נוכח פניך היה. להשיב את חמתך מהם:
אַל־תִּֽהְיֵה־לִי לִמְחִתָּה מַחֲסִי־אַתָּה בְּיוֹם רָעָֽה׃
Be not a terror to me: Thou art my hope in the day of evil.

אל תהיה לי למחתה. אל יהי שליחותיך למחתה:
יֵבֹשׁוּ רֹֽדְפַי וְאַל־אֵבֹשָׁה אָנִי יֵחַתּוּ הֵמָּה וְאַל־אֵחַתָּה אָנִי הָבִיא עֲלֵיהֶם יוֹם רָעָה וּמִשְׁנֶה שִׁבָּרוֹן שׇׁבְרֵֽם׃ {ס}
Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let me not be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.
