לַנְּבִאִים נִשְׁבַּר לִבִּי בְקִרְבִּי רָֽחֲפוּ כׇּל־עַצְמוֹתַי הָיִיתִי כְּאִישׁ שִׁכּוֹר וּכְגֶבֶר עֲבָרוֹ יָיִן מִפְּנֵי יְהֹוָה וּמִפְּנֵי דִּבְרֵי קׇדְשֽׁוֹ׃
My heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of the Lord, and because of his holy words.

מפני ה'. שאני שומע ממנו גזירה רעה זאת:
כִּי מְנָֽאֲפִים מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ כִּֽי־מִפְּנֵי אָלָה אָבְלָה הָאָרֶץ יָבְשׁוּ נְאוֹת מִדְבָּר וַתְּהִי מְרֽוּצָתָם רָעָה וּגְבוּרָתָם לֹא־כֵֽן׃
For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing, the land mourns; the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. For their course was evil, and their force unjust.

כחלקלקות. ארץ חלקה שהרגל מחלקת בה והאדם נופל:
כחלקלקות באפלה. כשלון על כשלון חלקלקות באור יש כשלון אפלה בלא חלקלקות יש כשלון:
וּבִנְבִיאֵי שֹׁמְרוֹן רָאִיתִי תִפְלָה הִנַּבְּאוּ בַבַּעַל וַיַּתְעוּ אֶת־עַמִּי אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

ובנביאי ירושלים. אני רואה עתה שערורה דבר מגונה:
וחזקו ידי מרעים. אומרים לרשעים שלום יהיה לכם:
לבלתי שבו. שלא ישובו המריעים איש מרעתו:
לנביאים נשבר לבי בקרבי. לדברי הנביאים האומרים שלום יהיה לכם נשבר לבי. רחפו. הולכים ונעים ככנפי צפור המרחף על קנו טרנבליר"ט בלעז:
