כֹּה ׀ אָמַר יְהֹוָה אַל־תַּשִּׁאוּ נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶם לֵאמֹר הָלֹךְ יֵלְכוּ מֵעָלֵינוּ הַכַּשְׂדִּים כִּי־לֹא יֵלֵֽכוּ׃
Thus says the Lord; Do not deceive yourselves, saying, The Kasdim shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.

כִּי אִם־הִכִּיתֶם כׇּל־חֵיל כַּשְׂדִּים הַנִּלְחָמִים אִתְּכֶם וְנִשְׁאֲרוּ־בָם אֲנָשִׁים מְדֻקָּרִים אִישׁ בְּאׇֽהֳלוֹ יָקוּמוּ וְשָׂרְפוּ אֶת־הָעִיר הַזֹּאת בָּאֵֽשׁ׃
For even if you had smitten the whole army of the Kasdim that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.
