עֹשֵׂה אֶרֶץ בְּכֹחוֹ מֵכִין תֵּבֵל בְּחׇכְמָתוֹ וּבִתְבוּנָתוֹ נָטָה שָׁמָֽיִם׃
He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

לְקוֹל תִּתּוֹ הֲמוֹן מַיִם בַּשָּׁמַיִם וַיַּעַל נְשִׂאִים מִקְצֵה־אָרֶץ בְּרָקִים לַמָּטָר עָשָׂה וַיּוֹצֵא רוּחַ מֵאֹצְרֹתָֽיו׃
When his voice resounds with great mass of water in the heavens, and he raises vapours from the ends of the Earth; when he makes lightning flashes among the rain, and brings forth the wind out of his storehouses:

נִבְעַר כׇּל־אָדָם מִדַּעַת הֹבִישׁ כׇּל־צֹרֵף מִפָּסֶל כִּי שֶׁקֶר נִסְכּוֹ וְלֹא־רוּחַ בָּֽם׃

נסכו. לשון מסכה:
הֶבֶל הֵמָּה מַעֲשֵׂה תַּעְתֻּעִים בְּעֵת פְּקֻדָּתָם יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃
