וְאֵלֶּה הַבָּאִים אֶל־דָּוִיד לְצִיקְלַג עוֹד עָצוּר מִפְּנֵי שָׁאוּל בֶּן־קִישׁ וְהֵמָּה בַּגִּבּוֹרִים עֹזְרֵי הַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃
Now these are they who came to David to Żiqlag, while he yet kept himself shut up because of Sha᾽ul the son of Qish: and they were among the mighty men, his helpers in war.

נֹשְׁקֵי קֶשֶׁת מַיְמִינִים וּמַשְׂמִאלִים בָּאֲבָנִים וּבַחִצִּים בַּקָּשֶׁת מֵאֲחֵי שָׁאוּל מִבִּנְיָמִֽן׃
They were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in slinging stones and shooting arrows from the bow; they were of Sha᾽ul’s brethren of Binyamin.

נשקי קשת. מזוינים בקשת ובחצים ומורים לפניהם ולאחריהם אף באבנים היו נותנים על יתר הקשת אבן מורים ואני ראיתי כן הרבה:
מאחי שאול מבנימין. לפי שכולם יצאו מאיש אחד מבנימין קרויים כולם אחים ולכבוד גדולת דוד אומר מאחי שאול שאפילו אחי שאול באו אליו בעוד שאול חי:
הָרֹאשׁ אֲחִיעֶזֶר וְיוֹאָשׁ בְּנֵי הַשְּׁמָעָה הַגִּבְעָתִי (ויזואל) [וִיזִיאֵל] וָפֶלֶט בְּנֵי עַזְמָוֶת וּבְרָכָה וְיֵהוּא הָעַנְּתֹתִֽי׃
