Divrei HaYamim I 8 דברי הימים א ח׳

Now Binyamin begot Bela his firstborn. Ashbel the second, and Aĥraĥ the third,

Noĥa the fourth, and Rafa the fifth.

And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Avihud,

and Avishua, and Na῾aman, and Aĥoaĥ,

and Gera, and Shefufan, and Ḥuram.

And these are the sons of Eĥud: these are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Geva, and they were exiled into Manaĥat:

and Na῾aman, and Aĥiyya, and Gera, he exiled them, and begot ῾Uzza, and Aĥiĥud.

And Shaĥarayim begot children in the field of Mo᾽av, after he had sent away Ḥushim and Ba῾ara his wives.

And he begot of Ḥodesh his wife, Yovav, and Żivya, and Mesha, and Malkam,

And Ye῾uż, and Sakhya, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers’ houses.

And of Ḥushim he begot Avituv, and Elpa῾al.

The sons of Elpa῾al; ῾Ever, and Mish῾am, and Shemed, who built Ono, and Lod, with its hamlets:

Beri῾a also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Ayyalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gat:

and Aĥyo, Shashaq, and Yeremot,

and Zevadya, and ῾Arad, and ῾Eder,

and Mikha᾽el, and Yishpa, and Yoĥa, the sons of Beri῾a;

and Zevadya, and Meshullam, and Ḥizqi, and Ḥever,

and Yishmeray, and Yizli᾽a, and Yovav, the sons of Elpa῾al;

and Yaqim, and Zikhri, and Zavdi,

and Eli῾eenay, and Żilletay, and Eli᾽el,

and ῾Adaya, and Beraya, and Shimrat, the sons of Shim῾i;

and Yishpan, and ῾Ever, and Eli᾽el,

and Avdon, and Zikhri, and Ḥanan,

and Ḥananya, and ῾Elam, and ῾Antotiyya,

and Yifdeya, and Penu᾽el, the sons of Shashaq;

and Shamsheray, and Sheĥarya, and ῾Atalya,

and Ya῾areshya, and Eliyya, and Zikhri, the sons of Yeroĥam.

These were heads of the father’s houses, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Yerushalayim.

And at Giv῾on dwelt the father of Giv῾on; whose wife’s name was Ma῾akha:

and his firstborn son ῾Avdon, and Żur, and Qish, and Ba῾al, and Nadav,

and Gedor, and Aĥyo, and Zekher.

And Miqlot begot Shim῾a. And these also dwelt opposite their brethren in Yerushalayim, with their brethren.

And Ner begot Qish, and Qish begot Sha᾽ul, and Sha᾽ul begot Yehonatan, and Malkishua, and Avinadav, and Eshba῾al.

And the son of Yehonatan was Meriv-ba῾al; and Meriv-ba῾al begot Mikha.

And the sons of Mikha were, Piton, and Melekh, and Ta᾽rea, and Aĥaz.

And Aĥaz begot Yeho῾adda; and Yeho῾adda begot ῾Alemet, and ῾Azmavet, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moża,

and Moża begot Bin῾a: Rafa was his son, El῾asa his son, Ażel his son:

and Ażel had six sons, whose names are these, ῾Azriqam, Bokheru, and Yishma᾽el, and She῾arya, and ῾Ovadya, and Ḥanan. All these were the sons of Ażel.

And the sons of ῾Eseq his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Ye῾ush the second, and Elifelet the third.

And the sons of Ulam were mighty men at arms, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Binyamin.
