וַֽיְהִי דְּבַר־יְהֹוָה אֶל־שְׁלֹמֹה לֵאמֹֽר׃
And the word of Adonoy came to Shlomo, saying,

הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּה בֹנֶה אִם־תֵּלֵךְ בְּחֻקֹּתַי וְאֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַי תַּֽעֲשֶׂה וְשָׁמַרְתָּ אֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתַי לָלֶכֶת בָּהֶם וַהֲקִמֹתִי אֶת־דְּבָרִי אִתָּךְ אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתִּי אֶל־דָּוִד אָבִֽיךָ׃
“In respect to this Beis Hamikdosh you are building, if you conduct yourself according to My statutes, and do My judgements, and preserve all My commandments, to conduct yourself according to them; I will fulfill My word with you that I spoke to Dovid, your father.

וְשָׁכַנְתִּי בְּתוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא אֶעֱזֹב אֶת־עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {פ}
And I will dwell among the Bnei Yisroel, and I will not abandon My people, Yisroel.”
