וַיִּתֵּן אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָן בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד עַל יֶרֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּן צָפֹנָה מִחוּץ לַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃

ירך. כתרגומו צִדָּא, כירך הזה שהוא בצדו של אדם:
יֶרֶךְ — is as Onkelos translates it, “the side” just as the thigh is on the side of the person.
