וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוֹנָתָן בְּדָוִד טוֹב אֶל־שָׁאוּל אָבִיו וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אַל־יֶחֱטָא הַמֶּלֶךְ בְּעַבְדּוֹ בְדָוִד כִּי לוֹא חָטָא לָךְ וְכִי מַעֲשָׂיו טוֹב־לְךָ מְאֹֽד׃
So Yonoson spoke favorably of Dovid to his father Shaul, and said to him, "Let the king not sin against his servant, against Dovid, for he has not sinned against you, and because his deeds are very beneficial for you.
