לַמְנַצֵּחַ ׀ לְעֶבֶד־יְהֹוָה לְדָוִֽד׃

ובקרב לבי. כאדם שאומר כמדומה אני:
כִּֽי־הֶחֱלִיק אֵלָיו בְּעֵינָיו לִמְצֹא עֲוֺנוֹ לִשְׂנֹֽא׃

כי החליק. הפשע על הרשע בחלקלקות בעיניו כדי שימצא הקב"ה את עונו לשנוא אותו:
דִּבְרֵי־פִיו אָוֶן וּמִרְמָה חָדַל לְהַשְׂכִּיל לְהֵיטִֽיב׃

חדל להשכיל להיטיב. מנע עצמי מהשכיל להיטיב מעשיו:
אָוֶן ׀ יַחְשֹׁב עַֽל־מִשְׁכָּבוֹ יִתְיַצֵּב עַל־דֶּרֶךְ לֹא־טוֹב רָע לֹא יִמְאָֽס׃

יתיצב על דרך לא טוב. הקב"ה נתן לפניו דרך הטוב ודרך המות והוא בוחר לו דרך לא טוב:
יְהֹוָה בְּהַשָּׁמַיִם חַסְדֶּךָ אֱמוּנָתְךָ עַד־שְׁחָקִֽים׃

ה' בהשמים חסדך. בשביל רשעים הללו אתה מסלק חסד מן התחתונים ומגביה אמונתך עד שחקי' לסלקה מבני אדם:
צִדְקָתְךָ ׀ כְּֽהַרְרֵי־אֵל מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ תְּהוֹם רַבָּה אָדָֽם־וּבְהֵמָה תוֹשִׁיעַ יְהֹוָֽה׃

צדקתך. יקרה מן הבריות כהררי אל בשביל מעשי הרשעים ומשפטיך באים לעול' עד תהום רבה, ד"א צדקתך כהררי אל מי שאתה רוצה לעשות צדקה עמו אתה מגביהו ומתקפו כהררי אל, לשון תוקף כמו (יחזקאל י״ז:י״ג) ואת אילי הארץ לקח:
משפטיך תהום רבה. מי שאתה רוצה לדון אותו וליקח נקמתך ממנו אתה מורידו עד תהו' רב':
משפטיך. יושטיצ"א בלע"ז:
אדם ובהמה תושיע ה'. בני אדם שהם ערומים בדעת כאדם הראשון ומשימין עצמן כבהמה בענוה תושיע ה':
מַה־יָּקָר חַסְדְּךָ אֱלֹהִים וּבְנֵי אָדָם בְּצֵל כְּנָפֶיךָ יֶחֱסָיֽוּן׃

מה יקר חסדך. אינו כדאי להמשך על הרשעים הללו אבל בני אדם אשר בצל כנפיך יחסיון הם ירויון מדשן ביתך וגו':
יִרְוְיֻן מִדֶּשֶׁן בֵּיתֶךָ וְנַחַל עֲדָנֶיךָ תַשְׁקֵֽם׃
They are abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou makest them to drink of the river of Thy pleasures.

אַל־תְּבוֹאֵנִי רֶגֶל גַּאֲוָה וְיַד־רְשָׁעִים אַל־תְּנִדֵֽנִי׃

אל תבואני רגל גאוה. אל תבוא עמי רגל הרשעים הללו בעת קבול שכר להיות חלקם עם הצדיקים, (ל' חלק אהלא פרט"יאה בלע"ז סא"א):
ויד רשעים אל תנדני. ממקומי בבואי לירש משנה חלקי וחלקו (של רשע) בטובה כענין שנאמר (ישעיהו ס״א:ז׳) לכן בארצם משנה יירשו ואז:
שָׁם נָפְלוּ פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן דֹּחוּ וְלֹא־יָכְלוּ קֽוּם׃ {פ}

שם נפלו פועלי און שם יבינו במפלתם ושם דוחו ולא יכלו קום:
נאם פשע לרשע בקרב לבי וגו'. הרי זה מקרא מסורס יש בקרב לבי שהפשע הוא יצר הרע אומר לרשע שלא יהא פחד אלהים לנגד עיניו:
