וּבְשׁוּב רָשָׁע מֵֽרִשְׁעָתוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה וַיַּעַשׂ מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה הוּא אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ יְחַיֶּֽה׃
Again, when the wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he has committed, and does that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

Yet the house of Yisra᾽el says, The way of the Lord is not fair. O house of Yisra᾽el, are my ways unfair? surely your ways are unfair!

לָכֵן אִישׁ כִּדְרָכָיו אֶשְׁפֹּט אֶתְכֶם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יֱהֹוִה שׁוּבוּ וְהָשִׁיבוּ מִכׇּל־פִּשְׁעֵיכֶם וְלֹא־יִהְיֶה לָכֶם לְמִכְשׁוֹל עָוֺֽן׃
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Yisra᾽el, every one according to his ways, says the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so that iniquity shall not be your ruin.

שובו והשיבו. שובו אתם והשיבו את אחרים רטורני"ר בלע"ז:
הַשְׁלִיכוּ מֵעֲלֵיכֶם אֶת־כׇּל־פִּשְׁעֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר פְּשַׁעְתֶּם בָּם וַעֲשׂוּ לָכֶם לֵב חָדָשׁ וְרוּחַ חֲדָשָׁה וְלָמָּה תָמֻתוּ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Cast away from you all your transgressions, in which you have transgressed; and make for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Yisra᾽el?
