בֵּית יַעֲקֹב לְכוּ וְנֵלְכָה בְּאוֹר יְהֹוָֽה׃
O house of Ya῾aqov, come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

לכו ונלכה באור ה'. יאמרו להם כן וי"ת יימרון דבית יעקב אתו וגו':
כִּי נָטַשְׁתָּה עַמְּךָ בֵּית יַעֲקֹב כִּי מָֽלְאוּ מִקֶּדֶם וְעֹנְנִים כַּפְּלִשְׁתִּים וּבְיַלְדֵי נׇכְרִים יַשְׂפִּֽיקוּ׃
For thou hast abandoned thy people, the house of Ya῾aqov; for they are replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Pelishtim, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

כי נטשתה עמך בית יעקב. הנביא מיסב הדיבור אל השכינ' ואומר כי עד הנה עזבת את עמך בשביל עונם (ד"א הנביא מוכיחן ואמר להם כן, כי נטשתה עמך בית יעקב כו' עזבת את מעשה הטוב אשר על ידו נהיית לעם אדם אתם בית יעקב):
כי מלאו מקדם. נתמלאו צבאותם ממעשי ארמי' שהיו יושבים במזרח שהיו מכשפים ומשתמשים בשם עבודת כוכבים:
ובילדי נכרים ישפיקו. בועלים בנות עכו"ם ומתערבים בהם ויולדות להם ילדים ובהם הם מספיקי' תמיד ומתעסקים ומתרפקין ונטרחים בהם ל' פן יסיתך בשפק (איוב ל״ו:י״ח) דביטימנ"ט בלע"ז:
וַתִּמָּלֵא אַרְצוֹ כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב וְאֵין קֵצֶה לְאֹצְרֹתָיו וַתִּמָּלֵא אַרְצוֹ סוּסִים וְאֵין קֵצֶה לְמַרְכְּבֹתָֽיו׃

וַתִּמָּלֵא אַרְצוֹ אֱלִילִים לְמַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו יִֽשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַאֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ אֶצְבְּעֹתָֽיו׃

עֵינֵי גַּבְהוּת אָדָם שָׁפֵל וְשַׁח רוּם אֲנָשִׁים וְנִשְׂגַּב יְהֹוָה לְבַדּוֹ בַּיּוֹם הַהֽוּא׃ {פ}
