מִכְּנַף הָאָרֶץ זְמִרֹת שָׁמַעְנוּ צְבִי לַצַּדִּיק וָאֹמַר רָזִי־לִי רָֽזִי־לִי אוֹי לִי בֹּגְדִים בָּגָדוּ וּבֶגֶד בּוֹגְדִים בָּגָֽדוּ׃
From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe to me! traitors have dealt treacherously; traitors have dealt very treacherously.

ואמר רזי לי וגו'. אוי לי שנגלו לי שני רזים רז פורענות ורז ישועה והרי תרחק הישועה עד שיבאו אויבים בוזזים אחר בוזזים אחרים ושודדים אחרי שודדים ה' בגידות אמורות כאן:
פַּחַד וָפַחַת וָפָח עָלֶיךָ יוֹשֵׁב הָאָֽרֶץ׃
Fear, and the pit, and the trap, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the land.

פחד ופחת ופח עליך. על העמים יושבי הארץ:
פחת. גומא ליפול בה כמו שמפרש ואומר:
וְהָיָה הַנָּס מִקּוֹל הַפַּחַד יִפֹּל אֶל־הַפַּחַת וְהָֽעוֹלֶה מִתּוֹךְ הַפַּחַת יִלָּכֵד בַּפָּח כִּֽי־אֲרֻבּוֹת מִמָּרוֹם נִפְתָּחוּ וַֽיִּרְעֲשׁוּ מוֹסְדֵי אָֽרֶץ׃
And it shall come to pass, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the trap: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

הנס. (מפני) [מקול] הפחד יפול אל הפחת וגו' הנמלט מחרב משיח בן יוסף יפול אל חרב משיח בן דוד והנמלט משם ילכד בפח במלחמת גוג:
רֹעָה הִֽתְרֹעֲעָה הָאָרֶץ פּוֹר הִֽתְפּוֹרְרָה אֶרֶץ מוֹט הִֽתְמוֹטְטָה אָֽרֶץ׃

רועה התרועעה. לשון שבר כמו (תהילים ב׳:ט׳) תרועם בשבט ברזל:
פור התפוררה. לשון פירורין:
נוֹעַ תָּנוּעַ אֶרֶץ כַּשִּׁכּוֹר וְהִֽתְנוֹדְדָה כַּמְּלוּנָה וְכָבַד עָלֶיהָ פִּשְׁעָהּ וְנָפְלָה וְלֹא־תֹסִיף קֽוּם׃ {ס}
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a frail hut; and its transgression is heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

כמלונה. סוכת נוצרים שבראש האילן:
מכנף הארץ. תרגם יונתן מבית מקדשא שהוא בסוף א"י במזרחה כמו ששנינו לוד מן המערב וירדן מן המזרח נמצא מירושלים לירדן מהלך יום ואני אומר לפי פשוטו שמענו מאחורי הפרגוד שעתידין להעלות זמירות מכנף הארץ ומה הן הזמירות צבי לצדיק עתיד להיות מצב ותקומה לצדיקים:
