וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִפְקֹד יְהֹוָה עַל־צְבָא הַמָּרוֹם בַּמָּרוֹם וְעַל־מַלְכֵי הָאֲדָמָה עַל־הָאֲדָמָֽה׃
And it shall come to pass on that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

וְאֻסְּפוּ אֲסֵפָה אַסִּיר עַל־בּוֹר וְסֻגְּרוּ עַל־מַסְגֵּר וּמֵרֹב יָמִים יִפָּקֵֽדוּ׃
And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be punished.

ואוספו. העכו"ם אספה. שהוא לרעתם להכניס אסיר אל בור המוכן לו מחוייבי גיהנם לגיהנם:
וסוגרו על מסגר. הם שבעה מדורי גיהנם:
ומרוב ימים יפקדו. עונות ימים רבים יפקדו עליהם וזהו שיסד הקלירי (בסילוק של יוצר דפרשת זכור) לרוב ימים להמנות לחשוב להם חשבונות:
וְחָֽפְרָה הַלְּבָנָה וּבוֹשָׁה הַחַמָּה כִּֽי־מָלַךְ יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת בְּהַר צִיּוֹן וּבִירוּשָׁלַ͏ִם וְנֶגֶד זְקֵנָיו כָּבֽוֹד׃ {פ}
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Żiyyon, and in Yerushalayim, and before his elders will be his glory.
