לָכֵן כֹּֽה־אָמַר יְהֹוָה אֶל־בֵּית יַעֲקֹב אֲשֶׁר פָּדָה אֶת־אַבְרָהָם לֹֽא־עַתָּה יֵבוֹשׁ יַעֲקֹב וְלֹא עַתָּה פָּנָיו יֶחֱוָֽרוּ׃
Therefore thus says the Lord, who redeemed Avraham, concerning the house of Ya῾aqov, Ya῾aqov shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now grow pale;

לא עתה יבוש יעקב. מאביו:
ולא עתה פניו יחורו. מאבי אביו שאין נמצא פסול במטתו ומטתו שלימה:
כִּי בִרְאֹתוֹ יְלָדָיו מַעֲשֵׂה יָדַי בְּקִרְבּוֹ יַקְדִּישֽׁוּ שְׁמִי וְהִקְדִּישׁוּ אֶת־קְדוֹשׁ יַֽעֲקֹב וְאֶת־אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יַעֲרִֽיצוּ׃
when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, sanctifying my name; for they shall sanctify the Holy One of Ya῾aqov, and shall reverence the God of Yisra᾽el.

כי בראותו ילדיו. אשר יהיו מעשי ידי כלומר צדיקים בקרבו כי בראותו בקרבו אשר ידיו מעשה ידי יקדישו שמי כגון חנניה מישאל ועזריה לכך לא יחורו פניו:
וְיָדְעוּ תֹֽעֵי־רוּחַ בִּינָה וְרוֹגְנִים יִלְמְדוּ־לֶֽקַח׃ {ס}
They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.

ורוגנים ילמדו לקח. לשון ותרגנו באהליכם (דברים א) אותם שהיו (מתלוננים) ונרגנים על דברי הנביאים ילמדו לקח:
