כֹּֽה־אָמַר יְהֹוָה גֹּאַלְכֶם קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמַעַנְכֶם שִׁלַּחְתִּי בָבֶלָה וְהוֹרַדְתִּי בָֽרִיחִים כֻּלָּם וְכַשְׂדִּים בָּאֳנִיּוֹת רִנָּתָֽם׃
Thus says the Lord, your redeemer, the Holy One of Yisra᾽el; For your sake I have sent to Bavel, and will bring down all of them as fugitives, the Kasdim, in the ships of their song.

והורדתי בריחים כולם. ואחתית במשוטין כולהון משוטין הוא עץ שמנהיג את הספינה ומיישרה:
וכשדים. הוליכו אתכם באניות רנתם וגם יש לפרשו על בשורת הגאולה. למענכם שלחתי. אשלח מלכי מדי לבבל ואוריד הכשדים בספינות ומשוטין לגולה לארץ מדי, וכשדים אוריד באניות שהיתה רינתם בהם:
אֲנִי יְהֹוָה קְדֽוֹשְׁכֶם בּוֹרֵא יִשְׂרָאֵל מַלְכְּכֶֽם׃ {ס}
