הַקְשִׁיבוּ אֵלַי עַמִּי וּלְאוּמִּי אֵלַי הַאֲזִינוּ כִּי תוֹרָה מֵאִתִּי תֵצֵא וּמִשְׁפָּטִי לְאוֹר עַמִּים אַרְגִּֽיעַ׃
Hearken to me, my people; and give ear to me, O my nation: for Tora shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment suddenly for a light of the peoples.

ארגיע. אניח:
קָרוֹב צִדְקִי יָצָא יִשְׁעִי וּזְרֹעַי עַמִּים יִשְׁפֹּטוּ אֵלַי אִיִּים יְקַוּוּ וְאֶל־זְרֹעִי יְיַחֵלֽוּן׃
My righteousness is near; my salvation has gone forth, and my arms shall judge the peoples; isles shall wait upon me, and on my arm shall they trust.

ישפוטו. ייסרו יושטיצ"א בלע"ז:
שְׂאוּ לַשָּׁמַיִם עֵינֵיכֶם וְֽהַבִּיטוּ אֶל־הָאָרֶץ מִתַּחַת כִּֽי־שָׁמַיִם כֶּעָשָׁן נִמְלָחוּ וְהָאָרֶץ כַּבֶּגֶד תִּבְלֶה וְיֹשְׁבֶיהָ כְּמוֹ־כֵן יְמוּתוּן וִישֽׁוּעָתִי לְעוֹלָם תִּֽהְיֶה וְצִדְקָתִי לֹא תֵחָֽת׃ {פ}
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and they that dwell in it shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be overthrown.

שמים כעשן נמלחו. שרי צבאות האומות שבשמים:
נמלחו. נתבלו כמו (ירמיהו ל״ח:י״א) בלויי הסחבות והמלחי', בגד הנשחת, ל"א נמלחו נתבלבלו ל' מלחי הים שמבלבלין המים במשוטות מנהיגי הספינה וכן ממולח טהור קדש (שמות לה):
והארץ. שלטוני הארץ:
ויושביה. שאר העם:
וישועתי. לעמי לעולם תהיה ד"א שמים וארץ ממש וכן פתרונו שאו עיניכם והביטו אל השמים ואל הארץ וראו כמה הם חזקים ובריאים ואע"פ כן יבלו וצדקתי וישועתי יהיו לעולם הרי שצדקתי בריאה וחזקה יותר מהם:
כי תורה מאתי תצא. דברי נביאים תורה הוא והמשפטים סופן להיות מרגוע ומנוחה לעמי' אשר אהפוך להם שפה ברורה לעבדני:
