לָכֵן כֹּה־אָמַר יְהֹוָה אִם־תָּשׁוּב וַאֲשִֽׁיבְךָ לְפָנַי תַּעֲמֹד וְאִם־תּוֹצִיא יָקָר מִזּוֹלֵל כְּפִי תִֽהְיֶה יָשֻׁבוּ הֵמָּה אֵלֶיךָ וְאַתָּה לֹא־תָשׁוּב אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
Therefore thus says the Lord, If thou return, then will I bring thee back, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou bring out the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return to thee; but return not thou to them.

כה אמר ה'. לי:
אם תשוב. אתה ישראל ע"י ואשיבך אני אליו אמר לי לפני תעמוד:
ואם תוציא יקר מזולל. אם תוציא אדם הגון מאדם רשע שתחזירנו למוטב:
כפי תהיה. שאני גוזר גזירה ואתה מבטלה:
ישובו המה אליך ואתה לא תשוב אליהם. יתובון אינון לפתגמך ואת לא תתוב למטעי בתריהון:
וּנְתַתִּיךָ לָעָם הַזֶּה לְחוֹמַת נְחֹשֶׁת בְּצוּרָה וְנִלְחֲמוּ אֵלֶיךָ וְלֹא־יוּכְלוּ לָךְ כִּֽי־אִתְּךָ אֲנִי לְהוֹשִׁיעֲךָ וּלְהַצִּילֶךָ נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃
And I will make thee to this people a fortified wall of brass: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, says the Lord.

וְהִצַּלְתִּיךָ מִיַּד רָעִים וּפְדִתִיךָ מִכַּף עָרִצִֽים׃ {ס}
And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
