לָכֵן הִנֵּה־יָמִים בָּאִים נְאֻם־יְהֹוָה וְלֹא־יֵאָמֵר עוֹד חַי־יְהֹוָה אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱלָה אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Therefore, behold, days are coming, says the Lord, when it shall no more be said, As the Lord lives, that brought up the children of Yisra᾽el out of the land of Miżrayim;

ולא יאמר עוד וגו'. רבותינו דרשו (ברכות יב) לא שתעקר יציאת מצרים ממקומה אלא גאולה אחרונה עיקר ויציאת מצרים טפל לה:
כִּי אִם־חַי־יְהֹוָה אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱלָה אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ צָפוֹן וּמִכֹּל הָאֲרָצוֹת אֲשֶׁר הִדִּיחָם שָׁמָּה וַהֲשִֽׁבֹתִים עַל־אַדְמָתָם אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לַאֲבוֹתָֽם׃ {פ}
but, As the Lord lives, that brought up the children of Yisra᾽el from the land of the north, and from all the lands into which he had driven them: and I will bring them back into their land that I gave to their fathers.
