מֵעַי ׀ מֵעַי ׀ [אוֹחִילָה] (אחולה) קִירוֹת לִבִּי הֹמֶה־לִּי לִבִּי לֹא אַחֲרִשׁ כִּי קוֹל שׁוֹפָר (שמעתי) [שָׁמַעַתְּ] נַפְשִׁי תְּרוּעַת מִלְחָמָֽה׃
My bowels, my bowels! I am shaken in the chambers of my heart; my heart moans within me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the shofar, the alarm of war.

שֶׁבֶר עַל־שֶׁבֶר נִקְרָא כִּי שֻׁדְּדָה כׇּל־הָאָרֶץ פִּתְאֹם שֻׁדְּדוּ אֹֽהָלַי רֶגַע יְרִיעֹתָֽי׃
