אֲשֶׁר הָיָה דְבַר־יְהֹוָה אֶל־יִרְמְיָהוּ הַנָּבִיא אֶל־עֵילָם בְּרֵאשִׁית מַלְכוּת צִדְקִיָּה מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה לֵאמֹֽר׃
The word of the Lord that came to Yirmeyahu the prophet against ῾Elam in the beginning of the reign of Żidqiyyahu king of Yehuda, saying,

כֹּה אָמַר יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת הִנְנִי שֹׁבֵר אֶת־קֶשֶׁת עֵילָם רֵאשִׁית גְּבוּרָתָֽם׃
Thus says the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of ῾Elam, the chief of their might.

ראשית גבורתם. מיטב גבורת':
וְהֵבֵאתִי אֶל־עֵילָם אַרְבַּע רוּחוֹת מֵֽאַרְבַּע קְצוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְזֵרִתִים לְכֹל הָרֻחוֹת הָאֵלֶּה וְלֹא־יִהְיֶה הַגּוֹי אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָבוֹא שָׁם נִדְּחֵי (עולם) [עֵילָֽם]׃
And upon ῾Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them to all those winds; and there shall be no nation to which the outcasts of ῾Elam shall not come.

וְהַחְתַּתִּי אֶת־עֵילָם לִפְנֵי אֹיְבֵיהֶם וְלִפְנֵי ׀ מְבַקְשֵׁי נַפְשָׁם וְהֵבֵאתִי עֲלֵיהֶם ׀ רָעָה אֶת־חֲרוֹן אַפִּי נְאֻם־יְהֹוָה וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אַחֲרֵיהֶם אֶת־הַחֶרֶב עַד כַּלּוֹתִי אוֹתָֽם׃
For I will cause ῾Elam to lose heart before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, my fierce anger, says the Lord; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:

וְשַׂמְתִּי כִסְאִי בְּעֵילָם וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי מִשָּׁם מֶלֶךְ וְשָׂרִים נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃

ושמתי כסאי. מצור שלי:
וְהָיָה ׀ בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים (אשוב) [אָשִׁיב] אֶת־[שְׁבוּת] (שבית) עֵילָם נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}
