קוֹל נָסִים וּפְלֵטִים מֵאֶרֶץ בָּבֶל לְהַגִּיד בְּצִיּוֹן אֶת־נִקְמַת יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ נִקְמַת הֵיכָלֽוֹ׃
The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Bavel, to declare in Żiyyon the vengeance of the Lord our God, the vengeance for his temple.

הַשְׁמִיעוּ אֶל־בָּבֶל ׀ רַבִּים כׇּל־דֹּרְכֵי קֶשֶׁת חֲנוּ עָלֶיהָ סָבִיב אַל־יְהִי־[לָהּ] פְּלֵיטָה שַׁלְּמוּ־לָהּ כְּפׇעֳלָהּ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר עָשְׂתָה עֲשׂוּ־לָהּ כִּי אֶל־יְהֹוָה זָדָה אֶל־קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Call together the archers against Bavel: all you that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her deeds; according to all that she has done, do to her: for she has been proud against the Lord, against the Holy One of Yisra᾽el.

לָכֵן יִפְּלוּ בַחוּרֶיהָ בִּרְחֹבֹתֶיהָ וְכׇל־אַנְשֵׁי מִלְחַמְתָּהּ יִדַּמּוּ בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}

השמיעו אל בבל רבים. ל' וישמע שאול את העם (שמואל טז) הזעיקו להאסף אל בבל מורים בחצים כמו יסובו עלי רביו (איוב ט״ז:י״ג):
