כֹּה אָמַר יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת עֲשׁוּקִים בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבְנֵי־יְהוּדָה יַחְדָּו וְכׇל־שֹֽׁבֵיהֶם הֶחֱזִיקוּ בָם מֵאֲנוּ שַׁלְּחָֽם׃
Thus says the Lord of hosts; The children of Yisra᾽el and the children of Yehuda were oppressed together: and all that took them captive held them fast; they refused to let them go.

גֹּאֲלָם ׀ חָזָק יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת שְׁמוֹ רִיב יָרִיב אֶת־רִיבָם לְמַעַן הִרְגִּיעַ אֶת־הָאָרֶץ וְהִרְגִּיז לְיֹשְׁבֵי בָבֶֽל׃
