כֹּֽה־אָמַר יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הֵיטִיבוּ דַרְכֵיכֶם וּמַעַלְלֵיכֶם וַאֲשַׁכְּנָה אֶתְכֶם בַּמָּקוֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Yisra᾽el, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

כִּי אִם־הֵיטֵיב תֵּיטִיבוּ אֶת־דַּרְכֵיכֶם וְאֶת־מַעַלְלֵיכֶם אִם־עָשׂוֹ תַֽעֲשׂוּ מִשְׁפָּט בֵּין אִישׁ וּבֵין רֵעֵֽהוּ׃

הגנוב רצוח וגו'. בתמיה וכי אלה תעשו ויועיל ההיכל לכם:
וּבָאתֶם וַעֲמַדְתֶּם לְפָנַי בַּבַּיִת הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר נִקְרָֽא־שְׁמִי עָלָיו וַאֲמַרְתֶּם נִצַּלְנוּ לְמַעַן עֲשׂוֹת אֵת כׇּל־הַתּוֹעֵבוֹת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃

כִּי לְכוּ־נָא אֶל־מְקוֹמִי אֲשֶׁר בְּשִׁילוֹ אֲשֶׁר שִׁכַּנְתִּֽי שְׁמִי שָׁם בָּרִֽאשׁוֹנָה וּרְאוּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂיתִי לוֹ מִפְּנֵי רָעַת עַמִּי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
