מזכיר. חוזר לראש שהיה מזכיר איזה דין בא לפני המלך תחלה דוגמא להביא את ספר הזכרונות דברי הימים (אסתר ו' א'):

על הכרתי והפלתי. פתרונו אומות היו כדכתיב (צפניה ב') הוי גוי כרתים ומאומותם היו עם דוד אנשים גבורי חיל ובניהו עליהם ודוגמא (בשמואל ב' טו) וכל עבדיו עוברים על ידו וכל הכרתי וכל הפלתי וכל הגתים וגומר:
ובני דוד הראשונים ליד המלך. פתרונו ובני דוד היו תמיד ראשוני' אצל המלך לעשות כל צרכו:
ויהי אחרי כן ויך דויד. אחר שאמר דוד לבנות בית וא"ל הקב"ה לא תבנה אתה אמר דוד הואיל ואין עלי לבנות הבית אלא בני עתה אכינה ואסדר לו הכל לכשיבא בני לבנות הבית שיהא לו הכל מזומן ועתה מניח הכל והולך ומספר היאך זימן לו הבנין שנלחם עם אויביו והקדיש שללם לבנין הבית וכן דרך הפסוק לדברו ודוגמא באליהו ובאלישע מאחר שאמר יהי נא פי שנים ברוחך אלי מניח כל המעשה מן המלכים ומספר והולך מן נפלאות אלישע היאך היו פי שנים עד שישלים הכל:
