בְּנֵי אָשֵׁר יִמְנָה וְיִשְׁוָה וְיִשְׁוִי וּבְרִיעָה וְשֶׂרַח אֲחוֹתָֽם׃
The sons of Asher; Yimna, and Yishva, and Yishvi, and Beri῾a, and Seraĥ their sister.

וּבְנֵי בְרִיעָה חֶבֶר וּמַלְכִּיאֵל הוּא אֲבִי (ברזות) [בִרְזָֽיִת]׃

וְחֶבֶר הוֹלִיד אֶת־יַפְלֵט וְאֶת־שׁוֹמֵר וְאֶת־חוֹתָם וְאֵת שׁוּעָא אֲחוֹתָֽם׃

כׇּל־אֵלֶּה בְנֵֽי־אָשֵׁר רָאשֵׁי בֵית־הָאָבוֹת בְּרוּרִים גִּבּוֹרֵי חֲיָלִים רָאשֵׁי הַנְּשִׂיאִים וְהִתְיַחְשָׂם בַּצָּבָא בַּמִּלְחָמָה מִסְפָּרָם אֲנָשִׁים עֶשְׂרִים וְשִׁשָּׁה אָֽלֶף׃ {ס}
All these were the children of Asher, heads of their father’s houses, choice and mighty men at arms, chiefs of the princes. And the number reckoned by genealogy of those who were apt for war and battle was twenty six thousand men.

הוא אבי ברזית. שר אותה העיר ובב"ר ר' לוי ור' סימון ר' לוי אומר שהיו בנותיו נאות ונשואות לכהנים שנמשחו בשמן זית ר' סימון אומר שהיו בנותיו נאות ונשואות למלכים שנמשחו בשמן המשחה ולפי שהיו להם שמן הרבה היו מושחין בו לכך היו נאות דהא באשר כתיב וטובל בשמן רגלו (דברים ל״ג:כ״ד) ואמר ר' חנניה חמין ושמן שסכתני אמי החזירוני לנערותי:
