Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep Thy righteous judgments.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep Thy righteous judgments.
I am afflicted very much: revive me, O Lord, according to Thy word.

My soul is continually in my hand: yet I have not forgotten Thy Tora.
My soul is continually in my hand: yet I have not forgotten Thy Tora.

The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I have not strayed from Thy precepts.
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I have not strayed from Thy precepts.
Thy testimonies I have taken as a heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
Thy testimonies I have taken as a heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
נָטִיתִי לִבִּי לַעֲשׂוֹת חֻקֶּיךָ לְעוֹלָם עֵֽקֶב׃ {פ}
I have inclined my heart to perform Thy statutes always, to the end.
