מָה־אָהַבְתִּי תוֹרָתֶךָ כׇּל־הַיּוֹם הִיא שִׂיחָתִֽי׃
O how I love Thy Tora! it is my meditation all the day.

מֵֽאֹיְבַי תְּחַכְּמֵנִי מִצְוֺתֶךָ כִּי לְעוֹלָם הִיא־לִֽי׃
Thy commandments make me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me.

מִכׇּל־מְלַמְּדַי הִשְׂכַּלְתִּי כִּי עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ שִׂיחָה לִֽי׃
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for Thy testimonies are my meditation.

שיחה לי. כל שיחתי היתה בם:
מִזְּקֵנִים אֶתְבּוֹנָן כִּי פִקּוּדֶיךָ נָצָֽרְתִּי׃
I understand more than the elders, because I keep Thy precepts.

כלאתי רגלי. מנעתי כמו (שמואל א כ״ה:ל״ג) אשר כליתני היום מבוא בדמים:
מִמִּשְׁפָּטֶיךָ לֹא־סָרְתִּי כִּי־אַתָּה הוֹרֵתָֽנִי׃
I have not departed from Thy judgments: for Thou hast taught me.

מִפִּקּוּדֶיךָ אֶתְבּוֹנָן עַל־כֵּן שָׂנֵאתִי ׀ כׇּל־אֹרַח שָֽׁקֶר׃ {פ}
