פְּלָאוֹת עֵדְוֺתֶיךָ עַל־כֵּן נְצָרָתַם נַפְשִֽׁי׃

על כן נצרתם נפשי. כלם כי לא נודע איזה יכשר:
פֵּתַח דְּבָרֶיךָ יָאִיר מֵבִין פְּתָיִֽים׃

פתח דבריך יאיר. תחילת דבריך האירו את לב ישראל שאתה המבין פתאים באמרך (שמות כ׳:ב׳) אנכי אשר הוצאתיך הודעתם בטובה שעשית להם שקניתם מבית עבדים לדעת כי אדון אתה להם ויקבלו אלהותיך עליהם לא יהיה לך אלהים אחרים וגו' ואח"כ גזרת גזרותיך, ד"א פתח דבריך יאיר תחילת דבריך במעשה בראשית יהי אור:
מבין פתיים. משם יבינו הכל ויפתחו (להתחיל ולפתוח) בדברי תורה, תנחומא
פִּֽי־פָעַרְתִּי וָאֶשְׁאָפָה כִּי לְמִצְוֺתֶיךָ יָאָֽבְתִּי׃

ואשאפה. ל' בליעה כמו (ירמיהו ב׳:כ״ד) שאפה רוח.

פדני מעושק אדם. מיצר הרע העושק את הבריות בפירושים אחרים מצאתי פדני מעושק אדם, פדני מעושקו של אדם.
