Tehillim 119:25-32

119:25

דָּבְקָה לֶעָפָר נַפְשִׁי חַיֵּנִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃

My soul cleaves to the dust: revive me according to Thy word.

Rashi

חיני כדברך. כמו שהבטחתני על ידי נתן הנביא טובה:

119:26

דְּרָכַי סִפַּרְתִּי וַֽתַּעֲנֵנִי לַמְּדֵנִי חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃

I have declared my ways, and Thou didst hear me: teach me Thy statutes.

Rashi

ספרתי. לך את צרכי ואת חטאתי ואתה עניתני:

119:27

דֶּרֶךְ־פִּקּוּדֶיךָ הֲבִינֵנִי וְאָשִׂיחָה בְּנִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

Make me to understand the way of Thy precepts: so I shall talk of Thy wondrous works.

119:28

דָּלְפָה נַפְשִׁי מִתּוּגָה קַיְּמֵנִי כִּדְבָרֶֽךָ׃

My soul melts away for heaviness: strengthen me according to Thy word.

Rashi

דלפה נפשי. נטפה כלומר נחסרת והולכת:

119:29

דֶּֽרֶךְ־שֶׁקֶר הָסֵר מִמֶּנִּי וְֽתוֹרָתְךָ חׇנֵּֽנִי׃

Remove from me the way of falsehood: and graciously bestow Thy Tora upon me.

119:30

דֶּֽרֶךְ־אֱמוּנָה בָחָרְתִּי מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ שִׁוִּֽיתִי׃

I have chosen the way of truth: Thy judgments have I laid before me.

Rashi

משפטיך שויתי. שמתי עצמי למשפטיך ודבקתי בעדותיך לבחור בדרך אמונה לך אני שואל דרך שקר הסר ממני:

119:31

דָּבַקְתִּי בְעֵדְוֺתֶיךָ יְהֹוָה אַל־תְּבִישֵֽׁנִי׃

I have held fast to Thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.

119:32

דֶּֽרֶךְ־מִצְוֺתֶיךָ אָרוּץ כִּי תַרְחִיב לִבִּֽי׃ {פ}

I will run the way of Thy commandments, for therein Thou dost enlarge my heart.
